THE PUB

The Crown and Treaty has been welcoming guests since 1645!

Interesting fact!

The Crown and Treaty pub in Uxbridge has a rich history dating back to the 17th century. The building was originally erected as a Manor House and back then the gardens extended behind the pub all the way to the river.

The name of the pub comes from the Treaty of Uxbridge, between Cromwell and Charles I which was negotiated here.

It later became a coaching inn, and served as a vital stopover for travellers en route to London.
