Weddings at the CROWN & TREATY
In addition to wedding breakfasts and receptions, our historic Crown and Treaty rooms are both licenced to hold civil wedding ceremonies
The rooms can be paired up with other spaces in the building to make the perfect day, for example a service in the historic Treaty room, wedding breakfast in the Crown room and then an evening reception in the beautiful Charles bar.
For a civil ceremony the rooms are licenced to hold
Crown – 26 guests + happy couple + two registrars
Treaty – 21 guests + happy couple + two registrars

Our restaurant and and terrace are perfect for larger parties.
Smaller groups can be accommodated elsewhere too including our fabulous snug area – just give us a call or drop us a line and we’ll get the party planning started.

Planning for funeral receptions may seem overwhelming but our friendly team will help you arrange all of the little details and create the perfect space to gather and share stories of your loved one and celebrate their life.
Whether you require space to display pictures, mementoes and a guest book; to play your loved ones favourite music or to show a multimedia presentation our team will be on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly.

We can cater for groups of up to 50 for a sit down meal in our Charles bar.
We also have conservatories and two wood panelled function rooms upstairs too.
Full table service is available so you can simply sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful food and drink we bring your way.
